Bang Chak - Udomsuk

The Bang Chak – Udom Suk neighborhood began growing when the BTS (Skytrain) expanded eastward, adding stations at Bang Chak, Punnawithi, Udom Suk and beyond, and several projects are under development in the area. Residents have traditionally been Thais, though more middle-income foreigners are relocating there.

Condominiums average THB 130,000–170,000 per square meter.  Recent projects include:

The neighborhood hosts several hotel/serviced apartments including: Brighton Hotel and Residence, Viva Garden Serviced Residence, Chateau De Sukhumvit and At Mind Executive Suites.

Tesco Lotus is located at nearby BTS Onnut. Udomsuk Market is an open-air food market. Near BTS Bang Chak is a CP Freshmart. The Jim Thompson Factory Outlet Store offers fine silk clothing. Nearby is Central Plaza Bangna.

Among many Thai and International restaurants located here are Look In Restaurant (Italian and Thai), Gianmi & Peppe Italian Restaurant, Nomsensingha (Northern Thai), Casa Pasta (Italian), Som Tum Khun Kan (Northeastern Thai), Seafood Land, Delivish Eats (barbecue), 101 Restaurant (International), Hua Seng Hong (Chinese), Kaisin Dimsum, Steak Lao (Northeastern Thai) and Tinpresso (espresso bar).

The 101 Sports Bar and Oak Valley are popular nightlife destinations, and there's a cluster of bars along Soi Udom Suk. Local karaoke bars include Bai Mai Ra Rerng and Flying Kitchen.

Aromdee Artstudio offers painting and pottery classes. Thailand Guitar Society provides group and private instruction and concerts. Bangkok Thai Cooking Academy and Imperial Bakery and Food Culinary School offer Thai cooking classes, and Kanom Thai School offers instruction in traditional Thai desserts.

For fitness, there's The Muscle Factory, EminentAir Thai Boxing Gym, The Artists Dance Studio, Fitness Station, FIT Junction and I Love Pilates. Siri Giriya Spa offers a popular herbal massage.

Local Churches include Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Praise Church House of Prayer, Tonkla Church, Church of God in Bangkok and Orthodox Christian Church of Bangkok.

Among the local schools are Panaya Kindergarten, Samaharn Suksa School, Phra Khanong Pittayalai School, Anglo Singapore International School, Wells International School, Siam Saamtri School, Convent of The Holy Infant Jesus School, Glory Singapore International School and Attawit School.

Nearby medical facilities are Kluaynamthai 2 Hospital and Manarom Hospital, and Teparuk Animal Hospital.
